When studying human anatomy it is important to touch structures when available ( and appropriate!). When learning the muscles feel them with your hands. Touch them on your study partner, find them on your cat. When learning the organs point them out on yourself, show your brother where your pancreas is located and poke your father in his kidneys (not too hard!). Employ tactile ( touching) learning anchors into your studying and learning anatomy will go much smoother.
